Come ride Elings Park’s new cross country and downhill mountain bike trails! Our highly experienced instructors will guide your child through the basics of trail etiquette, bike maintenance and riding skills. They will also prepare participants to compete in our annual Santa Barbara Bike Festival. The clinic is open to riders of all abilities. This after school program will be held for six weeks on Thursday afternoons from 4-5:30 pm. Participants are required to bring a functioning mountain bike and helmet.

 Mountain Bike Clinic Director Dr. Dave Phreaner is a highly respected local family physician that is an avid mountain biker in his spare time. Dave directed the highly successful Mountain Bike Summer Camp here at the Park. Dave is also a very active park volunteer that has donated several hours of work for the Santa Barbara Bicycle Festival, Elings Park Bike Challenge, as well as extensive trail work on Elings Park South. We are thrilled to welcome Dr. Dave back to the Park’s Youth Activities Staff this fall! |
