Godric Grove
Godric Grove is a large estate-like venue at the top of the park with incredible views of the city and ocean. It can accommodate up to 300 guests and includes a stone amphitheater, a large lawn surrounded by lush gardens and liquid amber trees, and a reception deck shaded by oak trees There is a spacious serving area and room for a bride or caterer’s canopy. A private parking lot accommodates valet parking or guest self-parking with easy access. Beautiful matilija poppies bloom from spring to summer.

Singleton Pavilion

Singleton Pavilion is a gorgeous, large grass area with a charming gazebo and two tree-shaded, natural stone terraces. It provides wonderful views of the mountains, city, and a peek of the shining Pacific Ocean. Singleton can accommodate up to 350 guests and includes a caterer's sink, large barbeque, electricity and restrooms. With its gorgeous landscaping and terrific views, Singleton is the perfect location for private, intimate events.

Both Godric Grove and Singleton Pavilion can accommodate large canopies. Alcoholic beverages may be served but not sold. Amplified music is permitted in both locations by an approved vendor and sound must be kept to 60 decibels at the property line.

Insurance Requirements

Any event in Godric Grove or Singleton Pavilion requires that the renter provide evidence of insurance, listing "Elings Park Foundation" as an additional insured with the following limits:

      -General or personal liability insurance with minimum limits of liability of $1,000,000 per occurrence.
      -Liquor liability insurance with minimum limits of liability of $1,000,000 per occurrence. (Included in all-day wedding venue fee.)
      -If you have employees working at your event, Worker's Compensation Insurance is required by California State Law (usually provided by the caterer/vendor).
***Check with your insurance agent--often one-day coverage is offered free of charge through an existing homeowner's policy. There are also online options like WedSafe that can help with event insurance (visit www.wedsafe.com ).
