Recreation

Hike, Run, & Mountain Bike

Elings Park is home to more than nine-miles of multiuse trails featuring breathtaking views of the mountains and Pacific Ocean.

Access trailheads from across the street from the upper soccer field, and off of Cliff Drive.

Throttle-powered e-bikes are NOT ALLOWED at Elings Park. We do allow e-bikes, but only pedal-assist models. This helps protect our trails, avoid damage to sensitive areas, and keep all park users, walkers, families, dogs, and cyclists safe.

Our staff monitors activity, but riders often move quickly through areas that are difficult to observe. If you see unsafe behavior, please call a Park Host at (805) 869-5611 and share the location.

Thank you for helping us keep the park safe, welcoming, and enjoyable for everyone.
